PROCEDURES

1. Pick four different dates for experiment
2. Feed two pounds of sweet cob feed two hours before race
3. Leave in stall for one and a half hours to eat
4. Tack up horse thirty minutes before race
5. Warm up in arena for ten minutes
6. Have someone time your race (standard barrel pattern + rules)
7. Race and record time
8. Repeat steps #2-7 with two pounds of salted whole oat feed, two pounds of high protein alfalfa pellets, and natural hay on three different days.
